A DAY IN TOFINO

There are few places that feel as raw and wild as the west coast of Vancouver Island. Rocked by storms and rainy grey weather, the rugged beach-lined coast, mountains, and old growth forests always recall a place almost beyond time. Even a quick action-packed trip leaves me feeling at once rested and brimming with excitement.

Last week Samsung invited us out for their west coast #UnboxYourMoment / Galaxy S8 event. I met up with a bunch of friends, caught a tiny bumpy lurching plane over the mountains to Tofino, hopped on a whale watching tour, got seasick, walked through the dripping rainforest, slept beside the ceaseless crashing sea, and spent the whole day testing out Samsung’s exciting new flagship phone. Fun! It was really neat to see the world through its big bright edge-to-edge display.

It’s always so nice to be back on the Island, even for just a for a little while. Thanks for having us!
